Dont get me wrong the album aint that bad. and it will probably grow on me. Not a fan of the beyonce song. Thats my bitch, The joy and otis a standouts. i like the rza track New Day. I really like Murder to Excellence. niggas in paris is pretty catchy after a while too. Gotta Have It i like aswell.
the biggest surprise it that a song i didnt really like H.A.M i actually dont mind anymore and been giving it plays a couple of times. lol.
overall a good album but i will have to listen to it a couple of more times. definitely growing on me.
but i do not like the beyonce song. should have gave that to rihanna if they had to.

It really is amazing.
I was actually really happy with the fact that this album wasn’t all “boom-bap.” It was a refreshing pop rap album that ended up being really awesome. I don’t think they copied Fantasy at all, but I guess it might sound a bit like an album Kanye put out less than a year ago since it is Kanye after all and they might have even recorded around the same time.
I haven’t heard the album yet. But I think this video is amazing.
This was actually pretty good, for a shemale and a washed out rapper haha but seriously better than I anticipated figured they’d go the rihanna route
My thoughts are that after hearing the album I would prefer to hear a Common and Nas album.
Watch The Throne is a good album. But can someone explain to me why lyrics aren’t important anymore. Seriously people have said kanye isn’t that great lyrically and i argued that he’s not bad. But seriously im starting to believe the myth that anyone can become a rapper now. Kanye West was pretty bad lyrically on this album. Its a shame. The reason it was so good in the 90s was because you had so many great lyricists but now days seriously even Jay-Z has slowed down his lyrics so much its annoying.
Great track and great video. I just wished they didnt try and replicate My Twisted Dark Fantasy and did what they originally promised which was a Boom Bap Raw hip hop album.
Remember when they were throwing up names like Pete Rock, Dj Premier, Large Professor, RZA etc
Then you songs like Thats My Bitch, The Joy and Otis and you wish the rest of the album sounded like that.
Simple video and Yeezy and Hov look like they were genuinely having a good time. Aziz Ansari chillin’ in the cut. Also like that the vehicle used in the video will be offered up for auction with proceeds going towards East African drought disaster.
