You might know the duo known as the Regiment from a number of places, but I’m being kind of selfish in hoping we were the ones who introduced you to them via their track with Jern Eye on our Transmitting Live Vol. 1 release. OK, I realize that is kind of bratty of me, but hey, come on, we did put that together with the hope to introduce you all to some new artists. Anyway, the Regiment are currently promoting their forthcoming mixtape, Back To Lyrics, and album, Panic Button, via single “Battle Cry”. The Detroit-everything banger was produced by fellow Motor City dweller Apollo Brown, who helped turn this track into more than just another gritty underground joint.
