Within Seattle, the Physics have become associated with a grown-folk sound absent from the hip hop community, however outside the region, they are still more synonymous with Newton’s Laws. Earlier this week, the group posted a few tracks from the upcoming LP, Love is a Business, on their Bandcamp for streaming. Having heard the full album, this is a strong sample, but hardly encompasses all that LIAB has to offer. Thig Natural provides a dose of coffee-shop poetry-esque truth over some bright and bubbly beats, making this a must-have summer album. Grab a partner, throw on “Chalk Up Tomorrow”, and you’ll have a reason to call in sick for work. LIAB will see a full release on Aug. 6.
