While the Morning Benders have (hopefully) been crafting another album as awesome as Big Echo, they took the time today to drop a new album of all exclusive material to benefit Japan and all the hardships they have been going through. According to Stereogum, Chris Chu, frontman of the Morning Benders, was born in Japan, and was a week away from playing his first concert in the country before the disaster struck. I just gave it a purchase/listen and let me tell you, it is worth every penny and all the satisfaction that comes along with helping out our Far East homies. With original tracks and a bunch of remixes from the likes of Wild Nothing, Star Slinger, Twin Sister and more, you really can’t go wrong here.
