To celebrate the release of their debut album together, Gas Mask, the Left have dropped another leak to entice listeners who, for whatever reason, might be a step away from purchasing this record. If you have heard any of the prior leaks, chances are you copped the entire album when it dropped today. I mean, come on, this rapper-producer-DJ trio brings it back to the grittiest sound of ’90s while maintaining an updated sound and take on the street-rap aesthetic. Further proving that point is this track, “Frozen”, which features one of my personal favorite MCs of all time, Kool G Rap. His being on this cut is so natural that it makes you wonder if we’ll be lucky enough to hear G Rap on any future work from the Left. Here’s hoping.
