While the debut of The Internet’s full-length Purple Naked Ladies was met with mixed reviews officially (meh), their organic movement is worth checking out. The album was good, don’t get me wrong, but I think it served more as a showcase of the potential this young duo has for the future. The OFWGKTA affiliates are already showing signs of promise, as they drop an unreleased jam that didn’t make Purple Naked Ladies, but certainly has me wondering why. With the soft vocals of Syd tha Kyd riding this slick production, it is only a matter of time before these two have their craft down to a science. Along with the bonus track, we have an accompanying documentary which gives us some insight into the recording process of the debut album. Purple Naked Ladies is out now.
