The Gaslamp Killer is an ever-evolving character in music, bringing to record and stage what no other man has ever brought before. His debut full-length Breakthrough is fast-approaching, and today we have yet another look at how it is shaping up by way of “Nissim”. With features from Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, Daedelus and Dimlite already in the bag, Gaslamp is proving to be a rather worthy collaborator.
“Nissim” is more out there than a lot of the stuff we have heard from the record, though, which features Daedelus on bass and Amir Yaghmai from Jogger on yiali tambur and guitar. The three tried to recreate and expand on a Turkish record the Killer came across one day. The final product is beautiful, to say the least. Breakthrough is due out Sept. 18 via Brainfeeder.
