For those of you into classic hip-hop, the Delfonics should certain ring a bell. While they aren’t hip-hop artists themselves, their tunes have been samples, covered and interpolated by acts like DJ Premier, Notorious B.I.G., Lauryn Hill and more. Today we are excited to find that the group is teaming up with Adrian Younge to release some new tunes, the first of which being “Stop And Look (And You Have Found Love)”. The initial sampling is pure bliss, a lovely mixture of retro soul and modern pop. This single will be released next week on 7′ vinyl, while you can expect a full-length album to drop some time in 2013 via Wax Poetics. [via]
