Look, I know that “You Never Asked” isn’t exactly the best track to feature Mike Skinner (aka the Streets) and/or Danny Brown. But there’s something endearing about the slightly messy nature of the track and its pseudo-dubby/poppy vibes. Maybe it’s just me. Shrug. Anyway, Danny spits some quotables and it’s kind of ill to see him on his Ichabod Crane in the song’s video, if only because of his Crane-referencing line on Danny!‘s “Theme Music to a Killing Spree“.
