The Books first leaked this track about 10 days ago, when Dave got all super-excited about the fact that this duo’s upcoming record is dropping July 20. And why wouldn’t he? So far the leaks/singles have been more entries in the fine, eccentric catalog already established by these guys. That eccentricity is especially present here on “A Cold Freezin’ Night”, which boasts children giving oddball confessions and insane instrumentation. If you thought the track itself was wild, you might not be prepared for the zaniness of the video.
