We got hipped to the funky sounds of the Bamboos back in April when their killer Aloe Blacc-assisted single, “Where Does The Time Go?“, hit the web. They have since released their latest album, Medicine Man, which is brimming with other funk and jazz-infused gems. The Bamboos also like to waltz into the realm of blues, like on standout cut “Cut Me Down”. It features guest vocals from original Kylie Auldist, who rides the tight grooves with a kiss-off confidence.
