The first time I heard “Marathon“, I went absolutely bonkers. I mean, how could I not fall in love with that warm fuzzy ball of infectious catchiness? While the original recording was way more fuzzy and awesome than the version that appeared on Cape Dory, I am finally forgiving this husband and wife duo and trying to move on. Anyway, Cape Dory is out, and it was only a matter of time before we started hearing some more new music from the band. That is where “Is It True?” comes in, a short and snappy cover of Brenda Lee’s original recording, which is super sweet in so many ways.
