If you’re not listening closely enough, you can sometimes get lost in a sea of instrumentals and forget who you’re listening to. There are exceptions, of course, and one of them is most definitely Brainfeeder flag-waver Teebs. The West Coast-residing producer has a sound all his own, and it’s one that typically brings to mind the image of sun rays beating down from the sky as a record skips on a turntable. That’s immediately what I thought of when “Mondaze” played through my speakers and I hope you love it as much as I do.
