Tech N9ne – “Thizzles” F. Danny Brown

tech-n9ne-danny-brownIf you’re a rapper making a molly-referencing joint, there’s one dude who pretty much has to be on your track: Danny Brown. Sure enough, the drug-loving Detroit native makes an appearance on the gigantic “Thizzles”, which appears on Tech N9ne‘s new album, Something Else. The track is essentially festival/rave fodder to the utmost agree, meaning you’re probably not going to love it if you’re listening through weak speakers or headphones. Save this one for a proper system or the car and then it will all make sense.

As a side-note, I know molly/MDMA tracks are played out at this point, but they do have their place in the music-listening world. We all need some dumb/fun songs every once in a while, and that’s exactly what we have here in “Thizzles”.

You can listen below and pre-order Something Else on Amazon. [via]

i love tech n9ne and i love danny brown. i can’t believe i hate this song.

danny brown is basically recycling lyrics from Molly Ringwald and that other joint with Mach Five.

i was expecting a grittier song from these two. One like Riot Maker or Psycho or Caribou Lou. That would be a perfect collab with Danny and Tech. but this seems like such a wasted chance

i mean why rap about bay culture with two artists from midwest.

is it just me, but isn’t Danny Brown becoming a bit tiring…. Besides the great song with paul white. i been disappointed. the joint with The BUg was weak, the verse on eXquire’s mixtape seemed to be a misfit. the joey fatts single is crappy.

i miss the depressing darker Danny

  2. Molly isn’t played out, just dumb rappers who didn’t know shit about it until it became trendy last year referencing it is played out. Danny Brown has a rave pass
