Okay, I can’t help but asking. Why is Talib Kweli still pushing Idle Warship so hard? I mean, sure, Res has contributed some rather beautiful vocals to Kweli songs over the years, but things have spun completely out of control. The Brooklyn MC is caught somewhere between making true hip-hop tracks, and all out pop anthems. The final product always seems to end up short. Everything from the porn-esque video to the corny hook of this track makes me totally uncomfortable. Let us know what you think about this miss, as well as Idle Warship in general.
