Talib Kweli’s Prisoner of Conscious might not be his best work to date, but it’s definitely solid and comes with some choice singles. Like the Miguel-assisted “Come Here“, for example, which just received the visual treatment. It’s an animated affair featuring characters straight out of ancient Egypt, an approach that might seem odd but actually works well here. That’s particularly true because it can get pretty trippy at times and am I crazy or is that bird character from something else?
