paved paths jane choi Download: Descry Paved Paths feat. Von Pea, MED, aDaD & Danny Brown [mp3]This got me pretty excited this morning, the newest cut off the homie Descry’s upcoming album, As Serenity Approaches. I don’t know how he did it, but he somehow managed to get some of my favorite emcees rocking it right now all on one song! And if that isn’t enough, we also get word that the album will feature such artists as Oddisee, Dumbfoundead, Donwill, Ohmega Watts, Substantial, Raashan Ahmad, John Robinson, TiRon, Theo Martins, Nieve and more. Now THAT is a list of features. But don’t get it twisted, Des won’t be overshadowed by this star-studded lineup. The man has beats! Give this single a spin and stay tuned for more leaks as we approach the date of this release.

Rashid Hadee and Pugs Atomz - StormyStormy represents a collaborative effort by two of Chicago’s finest, Pugs Atomz and Rashid Hadee. Both have made splashes already this year so it only makes sense that they would team up and tackle a project together. Hadee handles most of the production, except for a few guests like Fathom 9 and Tall Black Guy. And there aren’t a lot of guest MCs either — only one, actually, from Von Pea. Stormy is sponsored by and brought to you by the fine folks at Fake Shore Drive and DJBooth. Hit the jump for the rear artwork/track list.

Le Da Soul FrontHere’s what looks like an insane (in a good way) tribute to my personal favorite group of all time – De La Soul. Mick Boogie & Terry Urban teamed up with a slew of artists (ranging from Tanya Morgan to Phife Dawg to 6th Sense to Camp Lo to Apple Juice Kid) for this project. I heard a leak the other day for Phife’s  “Peace Porridge” and I can tell you I was interested off that track alone. Download, enjoy, and give thanks to one of the greatest groups to ever do it as well as everyone involved on this mixtape. Hit the jump for the tracklist.

Senor Kaos - Walk Softly & Carry A Big BrickWe hit you with two singles off this free LP not too long ago, and today you get a chance to spin the entire thing. Mr. Kaos is one of the hardest working emcees in hip-hop today, so it’s only right that he comes up on top with such a stellar album like this. The album features guests like Homeboy Sandman, Von Pea, P.So, Wale, and more. Give it a download, spin it a couple times and let us know what you think about it in the comments section below… [Via TSS]

danny! As we continue to support Danny Swain’s Def Jux campaign leading up to his LP, we release another single, this time with highly acclaimed emcee of Tanya Morgan fame, Von Pea. The prior leaks have been excellent, but this one takes the cake in my opinion. You can tell the Jux influence has been rubbing off on Danny, as this joint holds to be some of his darkest production. Quite an excellent collaboration as well, I didn’t really see this coming to be honest, but it worked out well. Von comes hard and absolutely kills the first verse, and Danny comes as the anchor and finishes strong. Check it out and stay tuned as we figure out when we will be able to get our hands on this LP…

robvikdonwill Download: Donwill & Rob Viktum Aight, New Drink [EP]

We dropped the sampler on you last week, but here is your chance to cop the EP in it’s entirety, brought to you by RIK. Couldn’t tell you I saw this collaboration coming between Rob Viktum and Donwill, but I am glad that it came together the way it did. They came hard with a handful of high-quality hip-hop joints, perfect for a casual listen as well as an in-depth breakdown. Give it a download and share your thoughts after the skip…

lessondary Download: Lessondary Were All In Power [mp3]

With two thirds of Tanya Morgan (Von Pea and Donwill) and the always-on Elucid, these three members of the Lessondary crew bring us the first leak off Lessondary Radio entitled “We’re All In Power”. And, of course, they all come correct on the microphone as they spit over a beat taken from Exile’s fantastic Radio album, which dropped earlier this year. If this track is any indication, Lessondary Radio is going to be yet another dope release from this crew. And it’s looking like 2009 is the year of the Lessondary.
