TrUe TheFuture – ¡Enjoi! [Mixtape]

Dave was admittedly pretty gassed when he posted the title track off promising West Coast rapper True TheFuture’s new mixtape, ¡Enjoi!. And even though it was delayed a bit, the tape is finally here. It features 13 blunted ‘n’ smooth tracks from the gifted MC who is way too dope to sleep on. He’s also not concerned with cramming every last idea into this project; the longest track on here is two minutes and 25 seconds. This is a dude who likes to keep it short and sweet, and who knows that it’s always quality over quantity.

Man, just as I was losing faith in hip-hop, 2011 came along. And August? Let me tell you about August. This month was jam-packed with fresh tunes, and I’m not just talking about hip-hop. California hip-hop, for the most part, is at its best during the summer months. Take TrUe TheFuture‘s latest single for example, “¡Enjoi!”, which has kicked back lyrics over some buttery smooth production from Ambiguous Sounds. From what I’ve been told, this is the title track from TrUe’s upcoming ¡Enjoi! project, which will also feature production from Elaquent. Sounds pretty sweet to me! ¡Enjoi! will be available Aug. 16.
