URB and Potholes favorites/homies Keelay & Zaire linked up to present this new free EP from Khizman. This marks his first solo effort after years of working with producer Nottz and the Incredible DMP. Today we are very excited to officially announce the upcoming release (August 25th) of Potholes In My Blog Presents… Transmitting Live Volume One mixed by DJ Traumatix. The project serves as a celebration and a thank you to all the readers that made the launching of our blog a beautiful reality. We could not have done it without you! So it’s only right that we provide you with this fantastic mixtape. Just as I started to doubt that this day would come with any dope downloads, Kahlee hits me with a new cut he did with Uptown Swuite & Slo-Mo of Fortilive. I am a huge fan of this camp and it is good to see them continue to put out some funky fresh music and this track is a perfect example of just that! Be on the lookout for more from these guys within the coming weeks, I promise they will come through with another banger shortly as they approach the release of their EP, The Seed. We will touch more on the concept of that EP in the time to come, but for now, check it out and enjoy…

Keelay & Zaire dropped Ridin High last month but that doesn’t mean they ran out of heat for you. Today they hit you with the web-exclusive, “Growin Up” featuring Slo Mo. A very laidback vibe on here, reminiscent of that gangster west-coast sound from back in the day. This joint can also be found on the Myx Music Label Mixtape that dropped a few weeks ago here on Potholes; but this version is DJ-free! I need to also take this time to urge you once again to go out and cop Ridin High. Kee & Zee put together an unbelievably polished debut that needs to be heard immediately!
