Count Bass D and DJ Pocket link up again and drop another free LP. This time around it’s dedicated to the late Jax, a.k.a. Chris Thurston of Binkis Recs. The Count and Pocket recorded Hartsfield Jaxson in Atlanta and, fittingly, asked some local cats to hop on the album. That means there are features from Flux, Senor Kaos, and a few others. All that background information aside, it’s just crazy/amazing that Count and Pocket have dropped two solid and free albums within a few days. Here’s hoping their productivity doesn’t end here. Props once again to Culture King.

Here’s what looks like an insane (in a good way) tribute to my personal favorite group of all time – De La Soul. Mick Boogie & Terry Urban teamed up with a slew of artists (ranging from Tanya Morgan to Phife Dawg to 6th Sense to Camp Lo to Apple Juice Kid) for this project. I heard a leak the other day for Phife’s “Peace Porridge” and I can tell you I was interested off that track alone. Download, enjoy, and give thanks to one of the greatest groups to ever do it as well as everyone involved on this mixtape. Hit the jump for the tracklist.

We hit you with two singles off this free LP not too long ago, and today you get a chance to spin the entire thing. Mr. Kaos is one of the hardest working emcees in hip-hop today, so it’s only right that he comes up on top with such a stellar album like this. The album features guests like Homeboy Sandman, Von Pea, P.So, Wale, and more. Give it a download, spin it a couple times and let us know what you think about it in the comments section below… [Via TSS]

Here is the second leak from Señor Kaos’ Walk Softly & Carry A Big Brick, this time paying homage to the wonderful De La Soul, with the help of Von Pea and Homeboy Sandman. It’s great to see such a lineup of talented emcees take swings on a banger of a track from Supa Dave West, hopefully we see more and more tracks like this in the near future. Check out the single, and be prepared to cop the full album September 30th!

You have no idea how long it took me to figure out how to do the little squiggly over the ‘n’ in Señor. Anyway, here is the the latest leak off Señor Kaos’ upcoming project, Walk Softly & Carry A Big Brick. “Slick Money” features the AOK Collective member, P.So on the rhymes, and production by the one and only, Large Professor. The entire project will be available next Wednesday (September 30th), courtesy of TSS. For now, check out the single, as well as the artwork and tracklist after the skip!

Just got this track in from The Kaos Effect called “Searching For An Outlet”. The joint features a power house lineup of Young Chris, Wale, Bun B & Señor Kaos. This has that classic go-go drum pattern on there, something very common from cats out of the DMV. If you were dissapointed by Wale’s last single effort in “Chillin”, this would be a good joint to restore some faith in the up and coming emcee. Also be on the lookout for more updates on Wale and his new album as the release approaches!
