I just got hipped to this Vermont collective of MCs and producers yesterday, but I’m definitely liking what I’ve heard so far. VT Union apparently has a street album, The VT Is Dead, dropping in two weeks that’s set to feature the likes of Malice (yes, that Malice), Statik Selektah, Akrobatik, and several others. Here we have a taste of that project with the Sean Price-assisted “This Is Me”, a nice throwback-ish type of joint. While the VT Union spitters, Nastee and Dakota, do their thing, I have to admit that Price, per usual, nearly steals the show. The guys a guest feature beast, what more can I say?
Stream “This Is Me” below or download it after the jump.
