- NBA Finals: Lakers win the NBA Championship beating the Magic (4-1) in the series. Kobe Bryant finally wins his 1st NBA title without Shaquille O’Neal. He now has 4 NBA rings. He`s still not likable, but he has proven the doubters wrong.
- Berkley College of Music starts a J Dilla course. In honour of the late great producer, the College has created two hip-hop classes; the Dilla Ensemble and Turntable Techniques so that Jay Dee’s music and legacy continue to be taught to a new generation. Dilla lives forever!
- Slaughterhouse on Itsthereal.com The lastest sketch by the Rosenthal brothers is easily one of the funniest we’ve seen in a while. As Slaughterhouse preps the release of their debut album, the boys shows us their more sensitive side. Read the rest of this entry »

- Mos Def on Hot97.com issues a friendly challenge. What he’s proposing would be epic, sadly we do doubt that it’ll ever happen.

- DJ Houseshoes gets his laptop stolen. It’s a pretty sad story because there were a bunch of J Dilla rarities on that laptop. Hopefully he backed up all the music that was stolen.
- NBA Playoffs: Lakers/Orlando are in the NBA finals. Nike and David Stern are happy there will be some star power at the NBA Finals. Sorry, LeBron, maybe next year.

- NBA Playoffs update: Lakers up 2-1; Magic and Cavs tied. Lebron James hit the biggest shot of his career and the playoffs to tie up the series with ORL. The DEN/LAL series will go at least six games, neither team has shown dominance.
