In between rocking stages on the West Coast and snoozing during the long van rides, NoCanDo and his touring pals Intuition, Open Mike Eagle, and Dumbfoundead along with Murs linked up for a remix to “Hurry Up and Wait”. The glitched-up, stuttering beat from Nobody was already the perfect complementary piece to NoCanDo’s excellent laid-back rhymes. But, even though Murs’ verse is slightly disappointing at first, the track got that much better when it turned into an all-out posse cut. And like I wrote over at Prefix, I have to give Intuition top honors on here, though everyone does the damn thing. Props to Jeff Weiss on premiering this remix yesterday. Hit the skip to download.

I felt kinda badly about how I bad-mouthed the new Murs and 9th Wonder record on Twitter a few days ago so I thought I’d make it up to the two people (go to hell, Dave) who read that tweet by posting this track. And no, I don’t actually think that either Murs or 9th saw what I wrote and cared, I’m just trying to be affable here, damn it. Anyway, this is a track from last summer when Murs decided to spit some hilarity over a beat used on a Rick Ross track. I personally love when Murray gets goofy like this and just kind of lets loose, though he most certainly kills it on the more serious tracks, too. OK, enough writing. Enjoy.

Here’s a little something for all you lovebirds out there. Nefarious! took the time to rework Murs’ “Me And This Jawn.” As a classic song for couples (they met on Valentine’s Day!), Murs does a nice job of detailing his relationship in this song, in case you were not familiar.
