Previously, MellowHigh, the collaborative efforts of Hodgy Beats and Domo Genesis, released their Lex Luger-produced single, “Timbs“. Today, the duo mellows things out a bit with the soft production notes of Thelonious Martin on “Go“. This track is perfect for kicking back on 4/20, whether you think it is a played out holiday or not.

Odd Future continue to dominate the Internet today, as Hodgy Beats and Domo Genesis bring new life to their MellowHigh collaboration. Out of all the subgroups in the Wolf Gang, this contrasting blend might just be my favorite. Featuring a grizzly Lex Luger beat, “Timbs” is a chilling piece that we would be more than happy to see land on any forthcoming project. Which project, though, is the question that has yet to be answered.

It looks like it only took one ignorant mixtape for Juicy J to float back into the realm of relevance, as he has now been featured on a number of big named tracks over the past month or so. This time MellowHype brings along Domo Genesis to form MellowHigh to enlist the Three 6 Mafia MC and explode with their first collaborative effort, “LIFT”. The track is produced by Left Brain, and certainly has me excited for what is to come from the Odd Future collective in 2012. [via]
