Concert Review: Big Daddy Kane, Blitz the Ambassador, Emilio Rojas & More (Prospect Park, BK)
To be honest, I am not the biggest Big Daddy Kane fan in the world, but after seeing him perform live this past weekend, I respect the man more than anything. It is amazing to see an emcee that held the torch some twenty years ago, still be able to get on stage and move crowd participants the way that he did. And when I say move the crowd, I mean people jumping up and down and dancing from start to finish, screaming at the top of their lungs.
Three Unrelated MP3s: Marco Polo & Torae, Pseudo Slang & The Good People

We received a massive overload of excellent submissions the past two days, so instead of making a bunch of posts making things all unorganized, here is one post including three of my favorite MP3s. I apologize if my clever little plan backfires and makes everyone confused. I tried to keep the write-ups as brief as possible, enjoy!
1) Marco Polo & Torae – “Hold Up” ft. Masta Ace & Sean Price
Another leak off Marco Polo & Torae‘s upcoming LP, Double Barrel, in stores June 2nd. This time they enlisted Masta Ace and Sean Price, two legends in the hip-hop community. Definitely give this a listen, it’s a banger…
2) Pseudo Slang – “Broke And Copasetic” ft. Vinia Mojica
Along with Pseudo Slang‘s announcement of the official release date (June 2nd, Fat Beats) for his upcoming LP, We’ll Keep Looking, he drops a very smooth single featuring Vinia Mojica. This is a very strong first showing of what’s to come from the album…
3) The Good People – “Gotta Think For You”
The Good People (Producer Saint & Emcee Emskee), put out the first leak off their Home Coming LP, dropping May 19th on Domination Records, giving you excellent taste of what’s to come. I’m excited to see these guys come together and put out a very focused project like this one is coming out to be. Be on the lookout for more information leading up to this release…
