Happy Martin Luther King day everyone! Although there are many that truly understand the importance of such a day, there are a whole lot more of you that just see it as another day off. Thanks to the Solillaquists of Sound, we get a fantastic tribute track to the civil rights leader with “Bulletproof”. Quite the special week is ahead of us ladies and gentlemen. The first black president will be inaugurated into office just one day after the celebration of Martin Luther King Jr’s birthday. I don’t want to talk too much on how important this is because you all very well know, but I thought I would share some pictures that my friend Pinky from DC shot up to me from the Inauguration Celebration that took place yesterday. You can hardly see the actual event taking place on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, but there are some very cool sites of security personnel (huge tanks, guns, camo) and you also get a great idea of how many people came out to see this pivotal moment in history.
Now the icing on the cake here is that in less than one week, Potholes  In My Blog will be officially opening its doors to internet traffic. Along with all these fantastic events this week, you can also expect a few more Special Treats and an extra special something to drop within the next 24 hours. So don’t touch that dial, more is on its way!
