Download: Jern Eye – “Get Down” prod. Keelay & Zaire [mp3]

jern eyeThe first official single drops today from Jern Eye’s upcoming LP, Vision (October 13), and boy is it a banger! Keelay & Zaire went to work on this one, some of the hardest hitting drums I have heard in a long while. And Jern Eye definitely puts in some of his best work to date lyrically. I haven’t heard the rest of the album yet, but I can already say that this was the right song to go with to grab some attention around the web. Thanks again to MYX for continuing to pound us with excellent content this week. Check out the track and share your thoughts…

We just got the first leak from West Coast emcee Jern Eye’s new LP, Vision, which is sounding fantastic so far. With Keelay & Zaire behind the boards, the track “So and So” really had enough going for it already. But one of my favorite guest rappers (and rappers in general) Guilty Simpson hops on for a guest verse and some adlibs to take this one to another level. Vision, Jern Eye’s sophomore effort, is set to drop Oct. 13 on one of our favorite labels, MYX, and will feature Zion I, Nightclubber Lang, Mistah F.A.B., and several others. Be on the lookout for more information as we get closer to that release date and enjoy “So and So”!

Download: Amen – Head On [Free Album]

Head On Side AFlipping through submissions today and I came across an album that features Keelay & Zaire and Khrysis production on some of the tracks. After peeping a few more cuts, I was thoroughly impressed by emcee Amen and his rapping prowess. Another cat that I think needs a little more experience on the mic, but definitely has potential to become a very entertaining artist. What I also found out, is that this is just one of five free albums with at least ten songs that Amen will be releasing in the time to come. Check this one and out and share your thoughts…
