Playing with electronic, ambient, trip-hop, and classic Detroit thump, this instrumental album is sure to be a delight for all the beat heads out there. For those who have been sleeping, the Detroit hip-hop scene has steadily put out generation after generation of hard-hitting emcees (although I really should not have to be telling you this). More recently – specifically this week – listeners have been blessed with two free albums from some of Detroit’s finest. First was Elzhi’s new unmixedtape. Now Marv Won, along with HouseShoes present Marv Won’s free album The Way of the Won. This album features some guest spots from the likes of Danny Brown, Bilal, and Chips Dinero.
