“Future Ex-Wife” represents another leak off Intuition’s upcoming Girls Like Me album, which drops Jan. 26. As I have said in my previous posts on Intuition, his sophomore album only gets better after each listen. Of course, you can expect a full review on here so I won’t spoil anything with this post. Anyway, “Future Ex-Wife” is laced with a smooth hook from crooner Travis Brown and an equally silky beat. Personally, I’m a fan of the track ’cause I’m going through a similar type of emotion/mindstate described by Intuition and the track’s title. The second cut is Falside’s remix of Intuition’s already dope “Al Bundy”, another Girls Like Me cut. Fal adds equal amounts of shine and gloom to the track, which turns into something completely new. I’m not sure which version I dig more — the original or the remix — because, well, both are pretty slick.
But enough babbling, give these a spin and let us know your thoughts, per usual.
