Today we are very excited to officially announce the upcoming release (August 25th) of Potholes In My Blog Presents… Transmitting Live Volume One mixed by DJ Traumatix. The project serves as a celebration and a thank you to all the readers that made the launching of our blog a beautiful reality. We could not have done it without you! So it’s only right that we provide you with this fantastic mixtape. It’s a collection of completely exclusive and unreleased hip-hop from some of the amazing artists that we have been working closely with over the past few months. Another thanks goes out to Theodor3 for drawing up the vivid artwork that you are currently feasting your eyes on.

Just as I started to doubt that this day would come with any dope downloads, Kahlee hits me with a new cut he did with Uptown Swuite & Slo-Mo of Fortilive. I am a huge fan of this camp and it is good to see them continue to put out some funky fresh music and this track is a perfect example of just that! Be on the lookout for more from these guys within the coming weeks, I promise they will come through with another banger shortly as they approach the release of their EP, The Seed. We will touch more on the concept of that EP in the time to come, but for now, check it out and enjoy…

Just about every artist we follow is out in Austin, Texas getting their SXSW on, fortunately the boss of indie labels, MYX Music, supplied us with a free mixtape to hold us over until they all return with their regular blast of free downloads and such. The tape features label members and some other special guests including; Illmind, Keelay & Zaire, Supastition, Emilio Rojas, Fortilive and much more. The new label put out their first release last week with Keelay & Zaire’s Ridin High and has a very promising future. Be on the lookout for more music from the homies at MYX in the near future! Props to HipHopDX and MYX Label for putting this out!
