Last December, we proudly brought you the download for Dex vs. Dynamite by Dex, of Epsilon Project. And now, it’s all about hit group and their upcoming Audacity EP, which drops May 25 and features the likes of Oh No, DJ Vadim, and Kev Brown on the boards. The latter of those three is the beatsmith behind “Inspiration”, the first track from Audacity that has me back on some mid-’90s vibes something crazy. If this is any indication of what’s to come on this project, I think it’s safe to assume we’re all going to be scrambling to cop the entire project later this month. We dropped “Callin’um Out” last week, and today we get the full EP! Dex vs Dynamite is a collection of five fine tracks that bring you down to the murky depths of Oxnard hip-hop. Dex holds the presence on the microphone that many emcees envy. It’s only a matter of time before his wit and grit break him through to the underground spotlight. With that said, give this EP a spin and be on the lookout for the Delux Music EP to drop January of 2010. Enjoy!

Here is some exclusive goodness for you on this Thanksgiving week, this time it’s coming from Dex of Epsilon Project. This is the first single off Dex’s upcoming free EP, Dex Vs. Dynamite, which will be released exclusively next week! Along with that free release, be on the lookout for the Delux Music EP, which will drop later on in 2010. Don’t get too comfortable with the family just yet, Dex is calling you out.

As many heads out there likely already know, Oxnard, California has a rich history in hip-hop. From Madlib to all of his projects with Lootpack and Stones Throw Records, there are plenty of groovy sounds to go around in that city. Hailing from that same city is Epsilon Project, a seven member (almost more like a collective) hip-hop crew consisting of three emcees, three more emcee/producers, and a DJ. However, to judge their music based on the experimental and progressive Stones Throw (Madlib) sounds would be a false prejudice. Epsilon Project is most at home when jamming over hard-hitting beats, somewhat reminiscent of fellow west-coasters, Dilated Peoples. Well the seven-man crew is at it again, this time offering us a solid free EP, entitled FREEloaders EP. Check it out and give us your thoughts.
