I don’t have much time to give you an in-depth analysis of this new joint from Emay, so just give it a spin and let us know what you think. We have been watching this kid build for the past year or so and it has been nothing but an absolute pleasure. With ill production and raps, Emay is definitely a force to be reckoned with in the months to come. This single right here is just the tip of the iceberg as we receive word that we can expect much more from the T-Dot wonder on the solo and collaborative tip.

The three producers of Rockpaperscissors apparently had been planning this type of remix project for a while as a means of introducing themselves as a group that will collaborate in the near future. In other words, Rock. Paper. Scissors. acts as a teaser for what we can expect from Emay, EOM and Remot. On here, they have each tackled the duty of remixing tracks from the likes of Tanya Morgan, Lupe Fiasco, Jay-Z and Wale along with some brand new verses from 6th Sense and Wax. Personally, I’m most interested in hearing EOM’s remix of “The Blank (Dangerous MCs)” as it features the new Wax verse, which is a nice treat for fans of Wax and EOM’s stellar Liquid Courage album.

Growing up, Where The Wilds Things Are was one of those books you could always depend on. Luckily, last year Spike Jonze gave it the Hollywood treatment, supported by a magnificent soundscape by Karen O. Today, producer Emay has decided to hit the boards and rework some of those nostalgic masterpieces into heavy hitting tracks of his own. Featuring 6 songs of pure instrumental bliss, the Canadian musician has done it once again. Emay, Karen O, & The Kids – “CAPSIZE”

It’s a great pleasure to be leaking the first track off Emay’s upcoming project today, Emay, Karen and The Kids. Growing up reading Where The Whild Things Are, this project hits a very special place. With help from the work of Karen O, Emay gets busy and samples the soundtrack to the movie of Where The Wild Things Are. Now I have been following this kid’s production for some time now, but he really stepped it up a couple notches with this one. Using epic synths and heavy drums, “Worried Shoes” sheds a new light on Karen’s work. Give this a spin and be sure to check back next week when we drop the entire project!

After a few delays, Sene‘s mixtape, Maltas & Music, has finally arrived. If this is your first time hearing of the homie Sene, be sure to check out the tape and go back and check out some of his past work as well. The guy has a short catalogue of classics under his belt already, and a wonderful working relationship with one of my personal favorites, Blu. In fact, Sene will be releasing his solo debut, ADayLate&ADollarShort, produced enitrely by Blu, October 13th! The homie EmAy just sent this track over he produced for Sene called “The Trade”. Every day it seems like EmAy’s production gets stronger and stronger, definitely be on the lookout for this kid to make some big hits shortly with cats like Sene and Co$$. And I also have to mention how great Sene compliments this song. Always got to love it when he gets his singing and rapping on, one of the few emcees that are actually capable. According to Em, this is going to be on one of Sene’s upcoming projects, not sure whether it will fall on a mixtape or his upcoming solo LP. Check out the track and share your thoughts…
