After a few delays, Sene’s mixtape, Maltas & Music, has finally arrived. If this is your first time hearing of the homie Sene, be sure to check out the tape and go back and check out some of his past work as well. The guy has a short catalogue of classics under his belt already, and a wonderful working relationship with one of my personal favorites, Blu. In fact, Sene will be releasing his solo debut, ADayLate&ADollarShort, produced enitrely by Blu, October 13th! The homie EmAy just sent this track over he produced for Sene called “The Trade”. Every day it seems like EmAy’s production gets stronger and stronger, definitely be on the lookout for this kid to make some big hits shortly with cats like Sene and Co$$. And I also have to mention how great Sene compliments this song. Always got to love it when he gets his singing and rapping on, one of the few emcees that are actually capable. According to Em, this is going to be on one of Sene’s upcoming projects, not sure whether it will fall on a mixtape or his upcoming solo LP. Check out the track and share your thoughts…
