Today I am excited to bring to you the exclusive video premier of Hiero’s newest signee, Chosen Few. Chosen Few, consisting of producer Unjust, MC Cold Showda, and MC/saxophone player Chop, join forces with Opio of Souls of Mischief, to bring this banger of a video. You have to love those lighting effects! Along with the video, we prepare for Chosen Few’s forthcoming LP, New World Symphony, which will be available April 6th. I have yet to hear the rest of the album, but I am hoping the rest of the tracks run as well as this one. It’s not every day that international hip-hop or neo-soul acts make their way over to America, and when they do, it’s usually just to hit the most major cities (New York and Los Angeles). Therefore when I heard that Nigerian/German songstress Nneka would be performing in Boston, I immediately cleared my schedule, and made sure nothing would get in the way of me attending her show.

I am sure if you listen to any of the new cats coming out of LA right now (Blu, Shawn Jackson, etc.), then you must have heard the name Co$$ come up in one of their shout-outs. If you are of the few that did their homework, you may have copped his very dope C.O.R.E. (Collection of Rejected Excellence). But if this is still one of the first times you have heard of the man, let these two tracks that didn’t make his upcoming debut on Tres Records be your little introduction. Yeah, they are cut tracks, but the production is fantastic and Co$$ goes in on some very deep stuff. Check it out and share your thoughts in the comments section…
