Just a fun little something coming from the Dumhi camp today, putting us all in that holiday mood. With Koupon Klique on the raps, the Christmas cheer is in full effect. Give this one a spin, peep the artwork and let us know what you think…
Haj from Dumhi shot over this fun little track a few minutes ago, and I had no choice but to make a post. It’s eerie how well Reef the Lost Cauze comes to matching DOOM’s flow. What’s even weirder is that the words he spits seem as if DOOM himself could have wrote them. But yeah, just a little something for you guys to enjoy as we wait for some new Reef and Dumhi. Enjoy!
Haji Haj of Dumhi shot over this excellent promo video for his joint off Yoga At Home. This is just the first two verses of the song, but it’s definitely worth copping the record to hear the rest. Yoga dropped a few years ago, probably before any of you were even aware of the Dumhi movement. I urge you all to run up on iTunes and cop that album, and get up on the rest of their past work. Along with the killer production, you can expect to see some legendary appearances from cats like Reef The Lost Cauze, Sadat X, Che Grand, Trek Life, Random, Von Pea, Jermiside and more! Check out the video and support…
Wait, it’s not October 15th yet? Oh well, here is Dumhi’s Indian Summer, a day earlier than expected! With appearances from cats like Donwill (Tanya Morgan), Che Grand, Al Mighty (MAGR), Shameless Plug, Jermiside, Flud, Mash Comp, Random, and more, this is bound to be a classic free release. To be honest, this kicks a lot of the free projects that are out right now to the curb. If you aren’t familiar with the work of Dumhi, I highly suggest you catch up and cop all the past releases. And if you need some additional convincing, check out the leaks from last week. I am sure that will diminsh any skeptism that you may have had. Special props goes to Objektiv One for providing some of the most beautiful artwork I have seen in quite some time. Check out the EP and share some thoughts after the skip!
Not too long ago, Dumhi dropped the highly-acclaimed free EP, Flowers. Today we get our first peak at the upcoming EP, Indian Summer, with a double single leak, featuring Che Grand & Donwill on one, and Flud, ShamlessPlug & MashComp on the other. Two contrasting joints that give you a good idea of the diversity you can expect to see on Indian Summer. Check out the two leaks and let us know what you think after the skip… Props to Objektiv once again for providing us with the beautiful artwork!
Haj was gone for a few months after the release of his Flowers EP, but don’t think he hasn’t been hard at work putting together his next project(s). Let me just leave it at this, you are going to get smacked in the face with Dumhi this year, plain and simple. Anyway, Haj was out of town for a while and returned to put out this free mix of unreleased tracks as well as a few that you may have heard before. The mix features appearances from Reef the Lost Cauze, NY OIL, Flud, Jermiside, Mash Comp, Random, Trek Life and more. Check it out and be on the prowl for more updates on the many Dumhi projects coming up soon…
Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! Here is a special treat from Haj of Dumhi called “Funny Valentine’s Remix”. Haj just flipped this one the other day and decided to shoot it over to us to share with you all. Also be sure to download the new Flowers EP for free on Potholes right now!
The wait is finally over, Haj’s Flowers EP is here for your downloading pleasure. Potholes In My Blog is your exclusive official host of this project along with www.dumhi.com. You can also check out the release party Haj is throwing featuring performances from Tanya Morgan and more on that site. I can honestly say that this is and will continue to be one of my favorite projects of 2009. Haj’s production is absolutely on point and the guest features fit in perfectly with the overall vibe. Some artist on there include Donwill of Tanya Morgan, Jermiside, JohnBlake, Shameless Plug, Flud, Signifire, Sabrina Cuie and more.
Check out the Potholes In My Blog review of the album where it received 4 out of 5 Potholes.
