Busta Rhymes is the one of the most incredible live performers hip-hop has ever has seen. He’s had a career that spanned the golden era, the native tongues movement, and the Jiggy era of the late 90’s all the way to present day. For all the success he’s enjoyed, his music is somewhat comical by definition now. Busta had his own style, animated lyrics and concepts when he first came out. However, if you look at his output in the last six years or so he resembles an artist willing to conform to trends to remain relevant.
