Although it’s a shame their record got pushed back a few months, it actually turns out that the delay worked in Chosen Few’s favor. This trio, which exudes the jazzy/funky sounds of the West Coast with a Mid-West flair, has been prepping its long-coming debut, New World Symphony, for several years. And while it doesn’t officially drop until next month, we were able to preview and subsequently review the record, the latter of which will be posted soon. Hint: It’s pretty solid. But anyway, to preview that effort, the trio put together this mixtape/compilation called Sounds of the Fewture.  This is a must download if you’re at all a fan of the work put out by the Hiero Imperium label because, well, that’s where Chosen Few calls home.
