The homies in Brokn.Englsh just shot over their long-anticipated and FREE debut album, The Drawing Board. It features production from Def Dom, of the Akai Bros., and is sure to catapult this trio’s popularity beyond what they have experienced thus far. These guys are close pals of the Potholes crew and we wish them the best of luck with their debut. Be sure to give it a listen and let us know what you’re thinking. Also, there’s a free bonus track included in the download so get to clickin’!

The homies known as Brokn.Englsh shot over their pre-album EP, Dreamscape. After giving the album several spins, this extended-play shows a different side to this three-man wrecking crew. Going in over some futuristic synths and downtempo drums, BE does not let up. Give this a spin and be sure to cop their upcoming album, The Drawing Board, free of charge November 17th!

You may be new to Brokn.Englsh, but this three-man wrecking crew out of the wonderful state of New Jersey just dropped a killer mixtape today. I got a chance to catch these guys in an open mic of sorts at Fat Beats a few months ago and I was blown away. Let’s just put it this way, they can rap their damn asses off. This mixtape is a prime example of how much skill they posses on the microphone. Check it out and feel free to share your thoughts…

A little late, but I wanted to support the first single off Brokn.Englsh’s album, The Drawing Board, produced entirely by Def Dom. The song title, “Cherry Popper”, may throw you off but I was instructed that, “This is not a girl song.” (c) Tanya Morgan. Anyway, it’s a very solid first effort from the New Jersey natives (represent!). I’m most definitely looking forward to hearing more from these guys as we approach the release. In the meantime, go out and support Brokn at Public Assembly on Thursday if you get the opportunity. I saw these guys spit a little a few months back at the Keelay & Zaire Fat Beats in-store and they come with some high-energy for sure. Check it out and let us know what you think…
