Yeah, I might be jockin’ but as we enter the second half of 2010, there are few upcoming album releases that have me as excited as Moe Pope’s Life After God (July 27, Brick Records). The album features Rain on production delivering smooth beats that (forgive the cheesiness) allow Moe to lyrically soar. Life After God also features some fantastic guest verses from many of Boston’s finest including Edo G and Reks, the latter of which delivers some superb bars here on “Foolish”.
