We’ve got a special treat today from the Backwoodz Studioz camp. “David Lopan” is the first single from Willie Green’s upcoming instrumental album, Dirty Jordans. Featuring samples from the film Big Trouble In Little China, “David Lopan” is an interesting fusion of sounds and musical influences. Some of you may remember Willie’s superb album, …Of Heroes And Villains, from 2009. Dirty Jordans, available on June 22, aims to pick up right where Heroes left off. Hit the skip for the download.

In what has been a very busy and successful year for two of underground hip-hop’s finest producers, Willie Green and Nasa find a perfect way to finish up 2009 with their collaborative project, Law & Order. Willie Green, of Super Chron Flight Brothers fame, and a member of Backwoodz Studioz, and Nasa aka Adam Warlock, of Uncommon Records, have put together a fantastic medley of exclusives, remixes, and instrumentals. In what is being billed as a showdown between the two indie-rap producers, Willie and Nasa both step their game up. We’ve tipped you off with a few leaks, and now it is finally here. From the progressive hip-hoppers over at Backwoodz Studioz comes the latest installment in the Super Chron Flight Brothers catalogue, the Deleted Scenes mixtape. While this project is technically under the Super Chron name, almost everyone gets a chance to shine here, whether on the mic or on the production credits. Deleted Scenes is comprised of original content accompanied by remixes and B-Sides. It’s an altogether dope project featuring some banging cinematic-styled production from the likes of Willie Green, AM Breakups, Marmaduke, Bond, and Essex Dogs. Super Chron emcees Billy Woods and Priviledge tackle the majority of bars with vicious lyrics, but they receive assistance from Cannibal Ox, Invizzibl Men, Asaviour and more. Once again, the people over at Backwoodz continue to push irresistible hard-hitting hip-hop. While awaiting the release of the new Super Chron Flight Brothers mixtape, Deleted Scenes, we give you two fresh tracks to hold you over. There’s not really a whole lot to say about these tracks other than that they absolutely bang, produced by Marmaduke and Willie Green, and they boast some furious lyrics courtesy of verses from Pastense, Cannibal Ox, and Johnny Voltik.
