After playing the album a handful of times, I cannot blame Potholes writer Ali Elabbady for gushing about 8thw1 & 2 Hungry Bros’ killer No Room For Dessert. It’s a rarity these days that a record can be so direct and contain massive replay value. Maybe it’s the fact that the entire album feels like one long freestyle session with 8thw1 spitting over ever-rotating, funk-laden production from 2 Hungry Bros. One of the finer examples of this is “Can’t Win ‘Em All”, which features 8thw1 being joined by fellow AOK family Fresh Daily, P.So, and Homeboy Sandman, the last of whom tackles the hook only. It makes for a great lil’ posse cut that’s paired up with one of the more hilarious videos I’ve seen this year, which you can view after the skip here. I swear, these guys have way too much fun doing this music shit.
Stream “Can’t Win ‘Em All” below and check the visuals after the jump.
