Outasight – “Dear Heartache…” prod. 6th Sense

Outasight Outasight Dear Heartache... prod. 6th SenseArmed with an A Tribe Called Quest flip from 6th Sense and a summery vibe, Outasight has brought us another leak from his upcoming BBQ-ready project, Never Say Never. Consider it the prelude to his long-awaited proper debut, From Here to Eternity. The problem is, for me, at least, that “Dear Heartache…” doesn’t really sink in until about a minute or two in. It’s definitely a smooth, pleasant listen, but perhaps a little too easy on the ears until he spits on the last verse. The thing is, though, that even an only slightly above-average joint from Outasight  is better than most tracks from a lot of other blog-friendly artists.

You can stream “Dear Heartache…” below and download it after the jump.

Rockpaperscissors – Rock. Paper. Scissors. [Remix EP]

RockPaperScissor Rockpaperscissors Rock. Paper. Scissors. [Remix EP]The three producers of Rockpaperscissors apparently had been planning this type of remix project for a while as a means of introducing themselves as a group that will collaborate in the near future. In other words, Rock. Paper. Scissors. acts as a teaser for what we can expect from Emay, EOM and Remot. On here, they have each tackled the duty of remixing tracks from the likes of Tanya Morgan, Lupe Fiasco, Jay-Z and Wale along with some brand new verses from 6th Sense and Wax. Personally, I’m most interested in hearing EOM’s remix of “The Blank (Dangerous MCs)” as it features the new Wax verse, which is a nice treat for fans of Wax and EOM’s stellar Liquid Courage album.

Hit the skip to download Rock. Paper. Scissors. You can stream “The Blank (Dangerous MCs)” below. Props to Vinyl Meltdown.

Download: Mick Boogie & Terry Urban – Le Da Soul [Mixtape]

Le Da Soul FrontHere’s what looks like an insane (in a good way) tribute to my personal favorite group of all time – De La Soul. Mick Boogie & Terry Urban teamed up with a slew of artists (ranging from Tanya Morgan to Phife Dawg to 6th Sense to Camp Lo to Apple Juice Kid) for this project. I heard a leak the other day for Phife’s  “Peace Porridge” and I can tell you I was interested off that track alone. Download, enjoy, and give thanks to one of the greatest groups to ever do it as well as everyone involved on this mixtape. Hit the jump for the tracklist.

outasight1 300x201 Download: Outasight Catch Me If You Can prod. 6th Sense [mp3]Good and bad news today from the Outasight camp. We get our next peak at upcoming release, Brand New Day, but with that, we also hear that the release date has been pushed back. No word on how long exactly, but in the meantime we are going to have to just bump this fantastic track produced by the homie 6th Sense. This guy really doesn’t let up one bit. It seems like every track he puts out just continues to put him on a new level. Give it a spin and share your thoughts after the skip…
