No, this isn’t Ta-ku and Roughsoul: LoveChild’s take on the Kelly Clarkson track, “Since U Been Gone”. Quite the contrary, actually, as the project finds the two producers working together to create an ode to the synthesizer. Synth You’ve Been Gone features, of course, 12 tracks filled with layers of synths, hearkening back to the ’80s without getting to hairspray or leggings-friendly. I’m digging what I have heard of this project after previewing the first few tracks and felt like at least a handful of you out there would enjoy this duo’s love affair with synths.
Stream the track “Gambinoes” below and download the tape after the skip.
