Another week, another treat from Detroit’s T. Calmese, who — and I promise this is the last time I remind you — dropped that ridiculously dope New Jack Kings project with Vaughan T in late September. For his latest release, he’s spitting over a Petey Pistols production that carries a brooding ’80s vibe. It’s filled with synthesizers and keys as a steady disco beat stomps in the background, setting the stage for Calmese to spit some revolutionary bars. And for those interested, he’s not just doing these free releases randomly. There is apparently a proper project in the works that, I hope, will drop in the coming months.
