I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: this kid Haleek Maul has a very bright future ahead of him. The Barbadian-based rapper—he produces and told me he’s going to start singing, too—already impressed us with his super-mature Oxyconteen EP. And he’s only gotten better since then, which becomes apparent once you start up Chrome Lips. The collaborative tape with Chicago’s Supreme Cuts also shows off a sometimes-less serious side to Maul, who is joined on here by Kool A.D., Deniro Farrar, Tree, and more.
