It’s difficult to think of a more appropriate title for Sum’s new single, “Boom”. Thanks to the bass-driven production from Tye Hill, this track, well, booms. It’s the type of low end-heavy cut you want to bump in a proper system, perhaps while you’re driving around this weekend in an attempt to embrace the fleeting somewhat-warm temperatures. However you choose to enjoy it, chances are it’ll keep the Chicago-born, L.A.-based MC on your radar. Sum’s got a new project, Dragon Vol. 1, dropping Nov. 27, and we’ll be sure to keep that on your listening radar.
