The folks at FACT landed themselves a bonkers guest mix that pairs up two musical pioneers in their respective genres. British electronic music stalwarts the Orb teamed with living reggae/dub legend Lee “Scratch” Perry for an hour-long blend of richly textured tunes from across the board. At times, it’s got a distinctive house vibe, but it also dips into dub and hip-hop riddims. Oh, and there’s a tripped-out version of “What a Wonderful World” in there, too. Crazy.
Stream the mix below. The Orb and Perry will release a joint album, The Orbserver in the Star House, next month.

Granted this is a collab, but how the fuck does “Scratch” Perry have such a relevant ear after all these years? Reggae dudes were NEVER in it to play around. They rock records from single digits (5-9 years old) til DEATH.
