Stream Rustie’s Glass Swords in Full

Glass Swords is the debut album from upstart producer Rustie, and it’s a doozie. It is probably the most upbeat, in your face, funky electronic record of the year. Most similar parallels I would draw are to Hudson Mohawke’s Satin Panthers EP earlier this year, but luckily Rustie has given us 42 minutes of goodness. “Ultra Thizz“, the albums lead single and stand out track, is a supernova of glittering electronic synth work mashed with chest rattling bass and encompasses every meaning of the word “epic”. But that’s not to say the rest of the album isn’t great, quite the opposite. Give this one a listen to start your Tuesday on the right foot.

Head over to the Guardian to listen.
