Well, this is it, the last Murs and 9th Wonder album we are ever going to hear. It has been a long journey for both of these artists, and it seems only right that they part ways on a good note. There are only so many topics Murs can rap about over 9th’s soul beats, I suppose, and both seem to have plenty going for them as far as other projects go. Such as 9th’s work with Rapsody, a blazing female MC who actually leads The Final Adventure off with a vicious verse of her own. Or Murs’ work with Fashawn on the recently released album, This Generation.
But the focus is on The Final Adventure today, as the two underground heavyweights put forth one last punch, which actually might be one of their strongest. While early collaborative work between these two might have flirted with less serious topics, their new offering is a reflection of how much both have matured over the years.
