After striking us with the full stream of Flying Lotus‘ new album, NPR comes through to present a stream of Miguel‘s highly anticipated Kaleidoscope Dream. Of course, we have been following the controversial labeling of Miguel’s sound as PBR&B, but we like to think his recent effort is going to be more expansive than that. Of course, everything we have heard thus far has been rather tasty, blending pop melodies with progressive underground sensibilities. There is no doubt Miguel has a vision more exploratory than other mainstream R&B artists, but let’s see if he has taken the opportunity with his second full-length to capitalize on these opportunities. Kaleidoscope Dream is due out Oct. 2.
