That is exactly what you should expect from Zulu Guru, as Jesse Boykins III and MeLo-X join forces to create a futuristic journey through time and space. But to pinpoint the exact origins of the sound present on this collaborative effort is easier said than done, as the duo bring in tones from several different regions and time periods. The best part is how they are able to capture the essence of their African journey and bring it forward with a modern palette of sounds.
